What the BJP's mobile outreach drive is doing differently — and how to access it
The Central Government runs over 5,000 welfare schemes — from free health insurance to housing, education scholarships, and business credit. Hundreds of thousands of Tamil Nadu families are eligible but have never enrolled. The reasons are always the same: they do not know the scheme exists, they do not know how to apply, or they get lost in bureaucratic paperwork without help.
The TNBJP Central Government Schemes Assistance Vehicle is a mobile outreach unit — a physical office on wheels. It parks in a ward or village for a day. Trained workers on-board help families: check eligibility for 5,000+ schemes, complete registrations on-site (e-Shram, Ayushman Bharat, Jan Dhan, PM Kisan), assist with document preparation, and follow up on pending applications. No middlemen. No fees. No travel to government offices.
The Seva Sankalp Abhiyan Vehicle was launched on 18 September 2026 at Kamalalayam — the BJP Tamil Nadu State Headquarters in Chennai — by N. Senthilkumar Nagendran, BJP Zone Incharge, Tamil Nadu. From there it began its zone-wide tour, covering constituencies across the zone, with the goal of reaching every family before the end of 2026.
N. Senthilkumar Nagendran (B.A LLB) is the BJP Zone Incharge for Tamil Nadu and the driving force behind the Abhiyan. Founder of AISWA (which gave free books to 3 lakh students) and TNVS — Tamil Nadu Vanigargalin Sangamam (10 lakh+ members, 234 constituencies) — Senthilkumar brings 15 years of grassroots organisational experience to this drive. TNVS formally aligned with BJP on 15th July 2026 in the presence of Former Minister, Tamil Nadu BJP President Nainar Nagendran.
