Multiple scholarships — ₹3,600 to ₹1.2 lakh/year for eligible students
The National Scholarship Portal (NSP) is a one-stop platform for all Central Government scholarships. Over 104 scholarship schemes from 11 ministries are available — covering students from pre-matric to post-doctoral level, across SC, ST, OBC, minority, and economically weaker section categories.

• Post-Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC/Minorities (Class 11 onwards)
• PM Scholarship for Central Armed Police Forces / Railway children
• Top Class Education Scheme (premier institutions)
• National Merit cum Means Scholarship
• PM-YASASVI (OBC/EBC/DNT students)
• NMMS (Class 9–12, economically weaker section)
Eligibility varies by scheme. Generally: Indian students enrolled in recognised schools or colleges, with family income limits (varies: ₹1 lakh to ₹8 lakh/year depending on scheme), belonging to the relevant category (SC/ST/OBC/Minority/EWS). Check each scheme individually on scholarships.gov.in.
• Aadhaar card
• Bank account (in student's name preferred)
• Bonafide certificate from institution
• Income certificate from a competent authority
• Category certificate (caste/minority/disability as applicable)
• Mark sheets of previous class
Visit scholarships.gov.in and register as a new student. Fill your profile, select the relevant scholarship, upload documents, and submit before the deadline (usually July–November each year). Track your application status on the same portal. Scholarship amount is directly credited to your bank account.
